Finishing the 24-25 school year with some learning fun!

Thank you so much for joining us in celebrating Lainey! Lainey is the recipient of the Jon H. Protest scholarship through National Technical Honor Society. This is a national scholarship for $1,000. Last year NTHS awarded 250 of these scholarships.
Congratulations Lainey!!

Students! The end of the school year is quickly approaching! Please see some important dates from the Counseling Office!

Ms Tarnow's Pre AP Literature and Composition class enjoy
Canterbury Tales’ pilgrims’ dialogue and feast.

Varsity Baseball/Softball games for tonight are cancelled; no baseball/softball practice tonight. We are working to find a date to reschedule.
The students in the 5th grade STEM extension have been learning about pneumatic power. They designed a pneumatic rocket that could be launched using a “recycled” launcher. Our first design feature some early engineering leaders. Great job young scientists!
*the class will start the redesign process this week.

We are nearing the end of the year at QMS. Today, Mr. Suever had special guests Izzy and Lily to help with the update. It's a quick update this week, but we hope you enjoy it! (We even had the unplanned quick exit at the end...oops!)

QMS is excited to bring back the wonderful tradition of the Staff vs. Student game! This year, QMS teachers will be taking their students on in a game of kickball. See the attached flyers for more information and for how students can participate.

A few reminders for Quincy High School Class of 2025...

QHS students have been raising funds to support families that were affected by the California wildfires. Their donations were placed in a jar with a staff member's face - and the top two with the most money got a pie to the face!
Mr. McCavit came in first with over $90, and Mrs. Wegner was in second with $45! Thank you for putting your faces on the line for a great cause!
Enjoy some photos of the pie action!

Thank you Mr Archie for getting our new signs! Be on the lookout for them around campus!

Well done first grade and Mrs. Taylor on your amazing Spring Sing!
You did beautifully!

Just a reminder....

Happy Mother's Day! Thank you to all our mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, aunts, and everyone else who step in to fill those roles for our kids! Dale and Mr. Suever wrapped up the week on Friday with our video. If you've ever wondered what life is like with middle schoolers, especially near the end of the year, this week's video exemplifies it!

Andrew Dunn finished off the final 1.1 innings not allowing a single hit and striking out 3 Pirates. Cobee Stevens and Mason Smith both had 3 hits. Drew Carlisle had a pair of hits and Wendorf settled for a single.

We want all of our WarHammer Club kids to feel the love, so please enjoy the rest of their artwork. They did an impressive job in these, showing diligence and patience. Way to go!

Last week and this week, students have been hard at work painting up their Space Marines and/or Necron model for the Warhammer Club! They have been showing tons of creativity and enthusiasm for this new project!

Congratulations Jennings Star Students!

Thank you Shelby Cronkhite and Jennings JPO for spoiling our staff this week! We looked forward to seeing each day and the surprises you had for us!

Special thanks goes to Crimson Greenhouse of Coldwater for their plants, expertise, and support of Mrs. Barve’s Earth Science classes and their Terrarium Project🪴
Mrs. Barve wrapped up her Biogeochemical Unit by having students research the science behind terrariums, and then create their own🪴
