Warhammer Club update from Mr. Patrick:
With the club underway, students have begun showing their painting prowess on their first couple models. From base coats, to highlights, to dry rushing. They are learning all sorts of painting styles and techniques. They've even shown their creativity by using grass tufts to give their models some spiky hair!

It's that time again, the Warhammer Club has begun! Last week, students were introduced to war in the far future, and got to build their first two miniatures! Stay tuned for next week to see them start painting!
Thanks, Mr. Patrick, for bringing this back this year. Our kids are fortunate to have options for their various interests.

Here's a special message from Coach Gross and our QMS competitive cheer team:
🖤 Black: 429.3
🧡 Orange: 376.1
What an unforgettable way to close out our season! ❤️
We wrapped things up with an impressive 2nd place finish at the Onsted Invite, and I couldn’t be more proud of these athletes.
This team showed up ALL season long and it paid off —
✨ 5 First Place finishes
✨ 1 Second Place finish
✨ 2 Third Place finishes
Bringing home TWO trophies, ONE plaque, and our BIG 8 TITLE CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆🏆🎉
On top of that, Onsted hosted individual skills competitions and our girls SHINED:
🤸♀️ Handstand – Molly 🥇, Kashtyn 🥈
💪 Heel Stretch – Kadence 🥈
Beyond the scores, the hardware, and the placements — this season has been such a blessing. I am so incredibly thankful for our athletes who gave their hearts, our parents who supported us every step of the way, and my assistant coaches who worked endlessly beside me. This truly is a special group of people, and I am beyond grateful to call this my cheer family.
So proud. So thankful. So much love for this team. 🧡🖤
What a season.

Mrs. Neusbaum's extension classes made gingerbread houses with graham crackers on Monday. They had to use math to calculate how much of the graham cracker to use and how much frosting to use. Please “like” the picture to vote for your favorite(s)!

On Saturday the 7th Grade Boys basketball team traveled to Concord to take on the Reading Rangers in the semi finals of the Big 8 tournament. The Orioles came out firing on all cylinders. Quincy's press was in full force causing turnovers that led to transition buckets on the other end. The first quarter saw six different Orioles scoring. Leading the way was Jefferson Wright, getting multiple steals leading to two fast break buckets and then knocking down a huge three. After the first Quincy was up 23-3. From the first quarter on, the Orioles never looked back, outscoring the Rangers 12-6 in the second, 13-3 in the third, and 3-0 in the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter saw a huge three point basket by Lucas Albright to cap off an Orioles victory 51-12. With that win Quincy moved over to the high school to take on Stockbridge for the Big 8 Championship.
Scoring is as follows:
Jefferson Wright- 13pts
Kye Dirchell- 11pts
Talon Thomas- 7pts
Easton Suever- 6pts
Brody Murphy- 5pts
Johnny Bassage- 3pts
Lucas Albright- 3pts
Logan George- 2pts
Davin Musielewicz- 1pt
The Orioles made the long walk across the parking lot to Concord High school to take on Stockbridge in the Championship game! Quincy started a little sluggish, rotating late in the press which led to some east buckets by Stockbridge. The Orioles missed a handful of close range shots to start, but eventually settled down and managed to outscore Stockbridge 13-7 in the first quarter. The second quarter slowed down for both sides. Quincy was up 21-11 going into halftime. Coming out of halftime Quincy's Talon Thomas sparked the offense scoring 10 points in the quarter while knocking down a huge three. Quincy was up 35-16 going into the fourth quarter of play. Stockbridge managed to out score the Orioles 6-10 in the fourth quarter but it was not enough as the Orioles went on to win 41-26 to take home the crown of Big 8 Champions, while also managing to go undefeated all season!
Scoring is as follows:
Talon Thomas- 18pts
Kye Dirschell- 10 pts
Brody Murphy- 7pts
Logan George- 4pts
Graham Craig- 2pts
