Come enjoy dinner, or a dessert, between 5:00-8:00 on Monday night. Our kids will be there to help serve and help however they can. 15% of all profits go to our students and will help cover the extra $200 they each have to cover this year. Thank you!

Preston Farms helped our 5th graders today by supplying local feed options for their farm stock. This helped our students in studying properties of different substances and how those properties can be useful in science. Thank you Preston Farms!

Today, Mrs. McLean’s class visited the gas station and Refuge for a one-day budgeting project. Students were tasked with distinguishing between their wants and needs while managing a $40 budget. They prioritized essential purchases and made decisions on what to forgo if their funds were depleted.

QMS Football Finishes 2025 Season Undefeated!
The Quincy Middle School Football finished its 2025 season 6-0 undefeated with a 36-14 win in a heavy rainfall at Union City. The Orioles used the same recipe at Union City that it had used all season - a strong running game, stout defense, and opportunistic special teams play to race past the Chargers.
The Orioles were hungry from the onset taking the ball 1st and advancing the kick off into Charger territory and wasted little time moving down the field for an early Greyson Sargent score and Talon Thomas 2 point conversion. The defense held and the O’s went back to work and scored another TD on a Thomas run and Kyle Dirschell 2 pt conversion to go ahead 16-0. Union City returned the kick for a score but on the pursuing kick off Thomas went 60 yards on the return and Dirschell again added a 2 pt conversion. The Orioles threatened again before the half thanks to a Logan Hayes interception but settled for a 24-6 at the half.
The Orioles D held again to begin the 2nd half and put together a bruising drive in the rain when LJ Stayner scooped up a fumble and rumbled for another score and a 30-6 lead. Thomas added another score on a nifty cutback run and the Orioles were on their way to the 6-0 season.
This group of Orioles performed at a high level all season long and had many contributions from all players on the roster. Most notable was the improvement from every player on the roster throughout the season. The 8th graders on the roster took on the role of leadership and with a talented group of 7th graders competed everyday in practice which paid off in games. The coaching staff stand proud of the efforts of every player. There is lots of excitement ahead for this group of Orioles as they advance in the Oriole Football Program.
