What a cool moment tonight when we had our very own 7th grader, Bentley, play the Star Spangled Banner for tonight's game. He then got mobbed by both our teams after a job well done!
Health classes got to have Mrs. Rufenacht and Kaleb H., a senior, speak about empathy, bullying, and how the choices we make help shape who we become.
Quincy Athletics Schedule - Week of 12/2
Fourth Grade visited the capital on Monday!
Quincy boys varsity basketball made the short travel over to Camden-Frontier for Monday night action. Quincy came away with the win 68-42. The Orioles played high energy defense creating steals which led to easy buckets on the offensive end. The Orioles improve to 1-1 on the season. Quincy takes on Stockbridge Friday night to open Big 8 play.

The Orioles JV team is off to a 2-0 season start with a dominating 59-16 win at Camden On Monday night. The Orioles secured 31 rebounds as a team to go along with 16 steals in a solid defensive effort. Leading scorers were Carson and Garrett Haylett each with 11, and Christian Craven with 8. The balance of the scoring was distributed among the remaining Oriole players with 11 out of 13 players adding to the score. The Orioles return to action Friday at Stockbridge.
The QMS 8th grade Oriole hoopsters disposed of visiting Maple Valley 46 to 23 on Monday night. The win moves the O’s to a 6-1 record.
JJ Wright led the way with 18 points including 2 3 point baskets and 2 for 2 from the free throw line. Also leading a balanced scoring attack was Carsen Craven and Matthew Taylor with 8 points each. Dayton Parker scored 6 points and added 3 blocked shots and 6 rebounds. Kale Dirschell scored 4 points and Alec Preston added a basket.
The Orioles return to the floor Wednesday night hosting the Rangers from Reading.
