Quincy High School Bowling is teaming up with Midway Youth Leagues for youth bowling. The futue of QHS bowling starts now, at all ages!

Mrs. Crabb's English IV seniors are competing in a 1920s Escape Room in preparation for reading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. What a great adventure for the students!
Mrs. Crabbs Dilemmas in Literature Class. They are sitting at the “jury table” for a dramatic reading of “Twelve Angry Men.” They explored the ethical dilemmas of a 1950s jury who must arrive at a unanimous verdict for a young man accused of murdering his father. What would your decision be?
Tonight is Oriole Night!
The Quincy Orioles will have all 4 of our HS Basketball teams under one roof tonight as we host the Stockbridge Panthers in an historic 4 pack of games!
$5 cash admission tonight gets you into all 4 games - ALL spectators should enter through the HS Gym Lobby
Schedule of Games:
4pm- JV Girls in the HS Gym
5:30- JV Boys in the MS Gym
5:30- Varsity Girls in the HS Gym
7pm- Varsity Boys in the HS Gym
Halftime of the Boys Varsity Game, Oriole Night festivities will begin

Girls Basketball and Bowling have been cancelled today. Girls Basketball will play tomorrow at 4pm (JV) in the HS Gym and 5:30pm (V) in the HS Gym vs Stockbridge; Boys Basketball will play tomorrow at 5:30pm (JV) in the MS Gym and 7pm (V) in the HS Gym vs Stockbridge
Varsity Wrestling travels to Reading tonight to take on Bronson and Concord at a Big 8 Quad. Wrestling starts at 6pm
Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling travel to Continental Lanes today to take on Schoolcraft in a SAC League Matchup
The rescheduled Game from yesterday for Boys Basketball will be played tonight where The Orioles will travel down the road to Hillsdale. JV starts at 5:30 with Varsity to follow
All Games and Practices are good to go tonight due to significantly warmer temperatures this evening. Get with your coaches for specific information
The Girls Basketball Games for tonight are cancelled and pending reschedule. All JV & MS practices are cancelled. Varsity teams may still practice but will be out of the building no later than 5pm - Players, please get with your coaches for more information
Good Afternoon Quincy Parents and Students,
Quincy Community Schools will be closed on Wednesday January 22, 2025 due to extremely cold temperatures. The good news is that a warmup is expected with temperatures later in the day on Wednesday reaching a balmy 18 degrees.
Stay warm and hopefully you have an extended supply of hot chocolate to get you through one more day of really cold temperatures and then back to normal.
The Boys Basketball Games for tomorrow 1/21 at Hillsdale have been postponed to Wednesday 1/22. A final determination on the Girls Basketball Games scheduled for tomorrow 1/21 will be made around noon tomorrow.
Quincy Community Schools will be closed on Tuesday January 21, 2025 due to dangerously cold temperatures over the area. A cold weather advisory, through at least Tuesday night, has been issued for our area with wind chills of 15 to 25 below zero at times. Stay warm and hopefully you have plenty of hot chocolate.

A huge shout out to the wonderful staff that works in the HS/MS kitchen (not all pictured). They not only provide students with wonderful, healthy meal selections, but also manage to add some fun!! Friday was celebrated with Lions' Cake and blue lemonade, enjoyed by all! Thank you, and Go Lions!
