Music Boosters benefit Spaghetti Dinner
The Quincy Music Boosters are having a benefit spaghetti dinner at the Union Church between 5-6 this Friday, September 30. It is by donation only. We appreciate your support!
Freshmen Class Dues
ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN: Class dues are due Sept. 30. Pay $7 for just this year or $25 for all 4 years. Make checks to QHS Class of 2020 and turn them into Mackenzie Groves or Mrs. Loveberry.
Coach B’s Driving School
Students wishing to take segment one or segment two driver education. Coach B’s Driving School will be running both programs at the Career Center during Christmas break. The segment one class is a special priced Christmas class ($250) for the first 28 students that sign up. Go to Coach B’s website to sign up . If the class won’t work for you B’s website’s 2017 schedule is updated as well.

Seniors Who Don’t have an English Class
Attention all Seniors who don’t have an English Class to vote for Homecoming court, please go to Mr. Crabbs room by Tuesday to vote. Also everyone who signed up for committees make sure you attend your meetings.
Any 5th or 6th grader interested in Jr. Cheer can pick up a form in the office.
Book Club students – don’t forget to check out the Google Document and have your top 4 picks ready to vote on this Tuesday at seminar in Mrs. Powell’s room.
Attention all seniors: The yearbook staff needs two Senior Pictures and a Kindergarten age picture as soon as possible. Also, all teachers: the yearbook staff needs a senior picture of you too! You can drop them off in Mrs. Marriott’s room or give them to Ally Parrish or Katelyn Newberry.
Dig’ N Pink
It’s time to get ready for the annual Dig’n Pink Event at QHS on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. The QHS volleyball teams will be playing against the Springport Spartans. You’ll be guaranteed a night full of excitement with competitive volleyball, biggest dig’n pink fan contest (dress in pink attire), silent auction, bake sale, raffle, and male staff/students sporting pink tutus to cheer on the girls! If you buy a dig pink t-shirt and wear it to the event, you’ll get in free. T-shirt forms are available in the office. Please turn in your form and money by October 7th. This is a great way to support the Lady Orioles and their dedication to increase breast cancer awareness. Proceeds will be donated to the CHC Cancer Center to financially assist breast cancer screening. Also, if you want to honor someone affected by cancer, please drop off a picture at the office by October 7th. Please write your name on the back of the picture. If you’d like to type/write the individual’s name and a tribute on a separate piece of paper, that will also be displayed on the “Fighters’ Wall.”
Yearbook – Just a reminder that yearbook applications are due to Mrs. Longardner or Mrs. Knaack by Friday, Sept. 30th.
Union Church Afterschool Program
It’s back! Starting Monday, October 3rd, the Union Church of Quincy will once again be holding an after school program on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:45-4:30. This is for Middle School students only and is absolutely FREE! Students will receive help with homework, have a place to practice with their band instruments, have gym time, and also have a snack and drink available. For more information and sign up form, stop by the office.
